Denise Maddox was born in Dallas, Texas on August 20, 1950 to parents Dennis and Gwendolyn Maddox. She passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Mesquite, Texas. Denise graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1964 and worked in IT for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and she also served as a Girl Scout troop leader. Denise enjoyed spending time watching movies such as “Lonesome Dove, It’s a Wonderful Life and her all-time favorite television show Andy Griffith. She loved studying genealogy, cooking, watching Nascar, going to antique auctions, crafting, listening to music, and traveling to the lake house, but most of all spending time with her family.-. She will be deeply missed by everyone. Denise is survived by her husband of over 30 years Russell Galvin, parents Dennis and Gwendolyn Maddox, two brothers Gary Maddox and his wife Kim, and Randy Maddox and his wife Cindy, two nieces Christy Hammar and her husband Martin, and Rachel Maddox, one great niece Hanna Hammar, her little dog Bea, and many other relatives and friends.
