Delores Ann Harris was born on July 2, 1938 in Olathe, Kansas to parents Howard John Mattix and Anne May Mattix. She passed away February 3, 2017 in Mesquite, Texas.
Delores married Donald Ray Harris on August 20, 1955 and had two sons. She loved spending time at church, as well as going on missionary trips with her husband. Delores was a devoted member of the Tawakoni Church of Christ. Delores spent most of her life living in Quinlan, Texas until recently she had been living at the Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Donald Ray Harris; sons Edmond Dale Harris and Drake Kyle Harris; parents, Howard and Anne Mattix; and sister Bonnie Day. Delores is survived by her nephews Gaylen Harris and G. Mackie Harris, and numerous great and great great nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Grove Hill Funeral Home from 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Grove Hill Funeral Home in the chapel at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park
