Dawn Ann Mitchell

Dawn Ann Mitchell of Rockwall, TX left this earthly home on July 5, 2020 at the age of 66 years. She was born January 31, 1954 in Dallas, TX to A.R. “Pinkey” DeLay and Floy Taylor. Dawn was raised in Dallas, though attended and graduated from Glenbard East High School in Lombard, IL in 1972. She married the love of her life Kaven Mitchell in 1991 and they spent 26 years wonderful years together. Dawn had three daughters and six granddaughters. She enjoyed her annual trips with Kaven to Walt Disney world and anytime they went to the beach. She truly loved being a grandma, and a wonderful friend to her girls. Dawn will be missed very dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; A.R. “Pinkey” DeLay and Floy Taylor, beloved husband; Kaven Mitchell, and brother; Cliff DeLay.

Dawn is survived by her daughters; Jennifer Lindsey of Rockwall, Kelly Price of Rockwall, and Paige Mitchell of Wylie, granddaughters; Hailey Price, Gracie Phillips, Madison Lindsey, Megan Lindsey, Morgan Lindsey, and Desiree Lopez, siblings; James DeLay and wife Patricia of Rowlett, Deena Killingsworth and husband Scott of Rowlett.
