David B. Lamb, Jr., 73, of Dallas, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2022. He was born on March 4, 1949, in Denison, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, David B. and Joanne Lamb Sr., brother Grady Lamb and sister Barbara Vedral. David is survived by his beloved companion, Rusty the Cat, sister Paula Lamb-Wehring (Jay); sister-in-law Mary Lamb; half brother Paul Brown (Patricia); nieces and nephews Dillon, Travis (Tyler), Lacey and Owen (Kelbi) Vedral, Mattison and Lexi Wehring, Zachary Lamb and Kaitlyn Dodds; great-nieces and nephew London, Bristol, Everly and Lennon Vedral.
David retired from Neiman Marcus, Downtown Dallas, after 51 years and 14 days of service. David was proud to be known as Stanley Marcu s' right-hand-man. One of his passions was bowling with his team, The Happy Strikers, for many years. We don't know if he was any good at it, but he told us he was! David was an active member in his Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Dallas.
Visitation will be May 31, 202,2 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, Texas, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will be on June 1, 2022, First Baptist Church Dallas, 1707 San Jacinto St., Dallas, Texas, at 2:00 p.m., with graveside following at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Please wear Davie's favorite bright, happy colors.
