Mr. Darrell Price, the son of O.T. Price and Jessie Price, was born June 30, 1957. He was a resident of Amarillo for the majority of his life, until the last 10 years when he resided in Dallas, TX. He had an extensive work history in truck driving. He was employed by Black Horse Carriers for the past 5 years before his untimely death. Darrell was a man of strong faith and loved the company of family and friends. Everyone knew how much he loved fishing, gardening, camping, barbecuing, and making his famous burritos. He was also known for being a gentle giant who loved two stepping at the Midnight Rodeo.
Darrell was preceded in death by his father O.T. Price.
Darrell leaves to mourn his cherished memories, his wife, Adena Price, three daughters, Jessica High of Dallas, Ticely McGilbra of Maryland and Takara McGilbra of Arlington; two sons, William Harris of Washington D.C. and Toby McGilbra of Desoto; A loving mother, Jessie Price of Grand Prairie; one sister, Nancy Frazier of Grand Prairie; one brother, Larry Price of Amarillo; thirteen grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Darrell will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
