Danny Marvin Trent

Danny was a “Grove Rat” and went to Tiche Elementary, Florence Jr High School, and WW Samuell High School. He graduated from WW Samuell High School in 1976. Voted “Most Athletic”, Danny was on the football team, baseball team and swim team and excelled in them all.

Danny enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1979 where he became a Sergeant. He served time in Germany and was released honorably in 1985.

Danny enjoyed fishing, macrame, playing games on the computer and construction, where he built bird houses and decks.

Danny is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sherri Trent; mother, Mattie Wand and husband Bob; father, Robert Trent; children, Seth Trent and Tyler Trent; Daughter in law Elizabeth Trent; granddaughter, Cadence Elizabeth Trent; siblings, Diane Trent and Mike Trent; and many other extended family members and friends.

He was greatly loved and will be missed. Go Rest High on that mountain Danny Trent!!

There will be a visitation from 9:00-10:00 am Friday, December 1, 2017 at Grove Hill Funeral home with a graveside service immediately following.
