Danny Scott Savage

Danny Scott Savage was born September 13, 1973 to Charles and Margaret Savage. He was their miracle baby, being born underweight and with a hole in his heart. As Danny grew he followed in his big brother, Charlie’s, footsteps, excelling in sports. He adored his brother Charlie or as he called him “Bud”. In May of 1987 Danny became a proud and loving uncle to Charlies’ daughter, Jessica. However being only 14 years apart, and with the sudden loss of Tina, Charlie’s wife and Jessica’s mother, Danny took on a big brother role in Jessica’s life. He and Jessica were extremely close and will always be brother and sister, they adored each other. Over the years Danny worked alongside his father and brother hanging wallpaper. Danny became a father to a beautiful baby girl, Sara Jane and again in 2005 to his sweet Becca. Danny spent the later years of his life living in Canton with his parents and Carlie’s youngest daughter, Destiny. He is preceded in death by his is brother Charlie Wayne, and leaves behind parents Charles Savage Sr. and Margaret Savage, sister Jessica Savage-Huffman; nieces, Crystal Savage, Lailah Godbey, Destiny Savage, Kyla Martin; nephews, Stephen Knight, Brayden Savage, Jordan Godbey, Jackson Wallace, Bentley Davis; and he leaves behind his two beautiful and talented daughters Sara and Rebecca who never failed to make him proud and put a smile on his face. Special thanks to Danny’s aunts, Gretta and Laura savage. Without you we could not have gotten through this. Your constant love and support means the world to all of us, and there are no words that could ever express our gratitude. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation for Danny will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A committal service will occur Monday, February 28, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
