Daniel Sauseda, better known as “Danny” or “Walito”, passed away suddenly of a heart attack. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Sauseda of Red Oak, Texas; his wife, Sarah Sauseda of Rowlett, Texas; and children, Fabian, Mona, Mary, and Debbie.
Danny grew up in Red Oak, Texas. He got his Bachelor's in engineering. He then met his long-time wife of 33 years, Sarah Sauseda. He was always aiming for something bigger in his life and fought for it. Danny loved to travel and ended up being a truck driver along with his wife, Sarah. But he loved his hobbies like hot rods, and older muscle cars that he loved tinkering with on his time off. His dream was to open an automotive shop and make it into a family business restoring muscle cars. Sadly, he never got to achieve his dream.
His father passed and he changed his whole way of looking at life and became a Christian. These verses stuck out the most to us, Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”, and Psalm 71:20-21 “Though you made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth, you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more”.
Danny was loved by all his kids and grandkids and great-grandkids. He could light up the room with just his smile. From his jokes and the love, he had for all of us we are so grateful for just knowing him and having him in our lives.
A visitation for Daniel will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.
The funeral service will occur Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, followed by an additional visitation from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
