Daniel “Dan” Loeb Krause, 87, died December 23, 2020, after a brief battle with Covid-19. Dan was born September 19, 1933, in Eastland, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and, after serving in the U.S. Army, earned his CPA license and enjoyed a long career in the accounting field. Dan was a founding member of and loved volunteering for Temple Shalom in Dallas, Texas. In his later years, he enjoyed genealogy and loved connecting with long-lost relatives. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Stella Jacobs Krause, and his parents, Julius and Edith Krause. In addition to being survived by his wife, Kay Frapart Krause, he is survived by his three children, Scot Krause (and wife Michelle), Elizabeth Krause, and Jill Krause, and two grandchildren, Andrew and Stephanie Krause.
