Danny D that's what we called you at DeWitt Clinton HS ! You will truly be missed my friend! It was a pleasure being your classmate, teammate and friend since 1975 . May God bless your family and friends to be strong during these painful times! Danielle and Aunt Tig,

Words cannot express how much of a treasure Uncle D was. No matter what he was going through, we always saw that show stopping smile. As we celebrate his home going, know that God's plan is always bigger and better than ours. He don't make mistakes. Uncle D served his purpose and God needed him to come home so he can be that angel sitting on your shoulder. Although he is gone, he will forever be in our hearts. Remember, as you continue your journey, he will be right there cheering you on every step of the way. I fervently pray that as you say goodbye, God continues to strengthen and comfort you. Tig, I don't where to begin in such difficult times.  I truly believe that Danny would want you to keep moving, living and be happy. He was a true original.  I remember the beginning in the 80's when he said, "he would marry you because the family had oil and riches". WE knew how funny that was and up to this year 2014 he often mentioned it. Remembering back in the college days dancing at the Hot Spot/"The New Experience".  OH BOY IT WAS FUN HE THOUGHT HE WAS SO COOL! :)! He was a true original. May your memories bring you comfort.  When we lose a love one here on earth we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us.  May God embrace you in comfort during this difficult time. We have such a special bond that will always keep us close in heart and joys and remembrance of Big Boy continues. Memories of him are happy ones, fun, kind ones, wit and especially humor about the family.  He was the best of company.  We may have to let go, but never forget.  Danny vision of life was truly remarkable.  Danny will stay forever in our hearts for days, weeks, months and many years and his soul in our prayers. Accepting a loss is truly difficult, but is just another test of faith.  God only gives us trials lesser than our strength and assistance beyond our eyes can see.  A good soul is now at peace.
