Dana Denise Oliver

Our beautiful Dee Dee Oliver left this life on December 13, 2022, age 67. Born Dana Denise Oliver, she was raised in Wichita, Kansas, and spent her teen years in Seattle, then wonderful, formative years in New Orleans. Dee Dee moved to Dallas in 1985 and quickly became a Texan. She loved animals, music of all kinds, art, fashion and Saturday Night Live. With a nurturing spirit, she was a second mom to many, but most of all she loved her family unconditionally.

She has been united in Heaven with her mother, Colene; father, Ivan; sister, Pam; nephew, Simon; nephew, Marty; and brother-in-law, Ryan. Dee Dee is survived by her son, Benjamin Oliver and his wife, Erin; her darling granddaughters Ivey and Anna Rose; her daughter,Isabel and her husband, Jon Tech; sisters, Sharla, Marsha, Candy and her husband Steve; brother, Steven and his wife, Heather; soul sister, Ann Spicer; nieces, Helen, Kama and her husband, Will; nephew, Josh and his wife, Stacey; two great-nieces, Jana and Maya; and one great-nephew Sage.

Memorial service will be at 2pm, Saturday, January 7, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX ,75225.

Dee Dee will be remembered for her loving open hearted kindness, her wit and her bright eyes.
