Our beloved Dalton (“Dalt”) Singler was fun-loving and adventurous, with an infectious smile and a quick wit. Dalton enjoyed life. Some of the passions that filled his life were dirt biking, skateboarding, jeeps, trucks, rc cars, bow fishing, country music, his friends and any kind of hunting throughout his life, until he was called to join other outdoorsmen in that big hunting ground called Heaven.
Dalton was born on Nov. 10, 1991 in Ft. Worth, but was specially chosen by God to join his family and new big sister, Lauren. He was educated at Christ the King Catholic School and The Shelton School, and graduated from W.T. White High School in 2010.
A true friend to all, and he had many, Dalton is remembered for helping anyone in need. He would help pull many a truck out of the mud with his trusty Jeep, and monster truck. Dalton loved the outdoors, adventures and just about everyone he ever met. He touched all with his wit and humor and caring heart.
Dalton is survived by his parents, Karen Singler McDaniel and husband Sam, of Spring Branch; his father, Jeff Singler and wife Allison of Dallas, and his big sister Lauren. Aunts and Uncles: Sue Flynn, Robert Singler and Greg and Dianne Field. Also by numerous cousins and grandparents Jerry Flynn and Dolores Singler. Dalton was preceded in death by his adoring Grandma “Nanny” Flynn and Grandpa “Sing”. He also is survived by the two ladies he loved the most, Heather and his dog Benelli.
A Celebration of the Life of Dalton will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Sparkman/Hillcrest, although if it were up to Dalt, he’d rather everyone gather in the Hill Country he loved so much. Please join us and re-tell the stories he can no longer tell. Please hug your children, dogs, cats and any other living creature the same way Dalton would have hugged you.
