Curtis Jean was born in Dallas TX on July 8, 1954. She graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School in 1972.
Curtis Jean loved to clean and cook. She was known for her peach cobbler and her hot buttery pancakes. She worked as a nurses aide for many years, housekeeping, warehousing, and home healthcare.
Curtis Jean is survived by her two daughters, Evelyn Latrice Ford (oldest) and Shanece Wells (Mario) Four grandsons, Eric, Trae, Dezman and Kameron and one granddaughter, Lyric Willis. Two great-grand children; four brothers, three sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at Leath Street Baptist Church on Monday March 9, 2020 at 11am. 1831 Canada Dr. Dallas Tx 75212. Reverend Paul W. Brown will be officiating and Reverend Kavin E. Brown will be the eulogist. Visitation will be Sunday March 8, 2020 from 5-8pm. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park, located at 6300 S R L Thornton Freeway, Dallas TX 75232. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Laurel Land funeral home.
