Connie Lee Kathryn Deller Manuell was born on December 22, 1931 to Carl and Ursula Deller at The Ozark Inn owned by her grandparents in Bristow OK. Connie traveled the U.S. extensively during her childhood, as her father worked as a Master Brick Mason and Master Stone Mason. Connie’s parents settled in Houston where she graduated from Milby High School a Member of the National Honor Society. While attending Milby she met her high school sweetheart Garnet Manuell Sr.. They were married September 21,1950 in Belton Tx., together they had two children Denise and Garnet Jr.
Connie accepted Christ at a young age and remained devout her entire life, she was active in the Church community in Arlington, Tx. as a member of the Altar Guild, and taught children’s Sunday school classes at St. Albans Episcopal Church. At the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints her calling was Relief Society librarian, Culture Refinement teacher, Stake librarian, Sunday school teacher and visiting teacher supervisor.
She worked as a Keypunch Coder for Opinion Meter and homemaker for her husband and children.
Connie’s passions included homemaker, crochet, bird watching, reading and gardening.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ursula Deller and husband Garnet Manuell Sr. She is survived by daughter Denise and son-in-law Randy Hook of Broken Arrow Ok., son Garnet D. Manuell Jr. of Tulsa,Ok., granddaughter Tamara Anderson of Jenks, Ok., grandson Christian Hook and Wife Sydney of Mannford, Ok., great grandchildren Madison Anderson of Tulsa, Ok., Mallorie Anderson of Broken Arrow, Ok., Kyler and Jase Hook of Mannford, Ok., and great great Grandson William Meano of Tulsa, Ok.
She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 11, 2018 at her home in Broken Arrow, Ok. She lived a Christian love-filled life. All cherished memories of her will never be forgotten. She will be forever loved.
