Claudia Colbert was born to Claude and Mamie Winter in Hawley, TX on July 26, 1927. Preceding her death was her father, Claude Winter, mother, Mamie Winter and son, Ace Colbert, Jr. Claudia was a long time resident of Grand Prairie, TX. After her retirement from International Paper Company, she took a part-time job selling programs at Lone Star Park. She enjoyed meeting new people and spending time with her co-workers at Lone Star Park. One of Claudia's favorite past time was crocheting. She enjoyed making blankets and other time for family members and close friends. Claudia had a love for baseball, especially the Texas Rangers. Anyone who knew Claudia knew she had a "green thumb" when it came to taking care of her yard and growing any type of plant. She spent many joyful hours doing these things. She also had a love for reading. Claudia leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons, Mickey Heaton and Thomas Heaton and her daughter, Doranda Ann Hurtt. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
