Clara Marin

Clara Marin, 66, of Dallas, Texas passed away Friday, August 19, 2022. Clara was born December 6, 1955 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas to Jose Maria Marin and Cristina Rocha. Clara was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Colegio Reynosa in 1970/1971. She was married to Ascension Ruben Garcia and the couple had three children. She was a cosmetologist and worked for more than thirty-five years.

In her spare time Clara enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and cards with friends and family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a fun, joking, loving, protective and courageous person.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ascension Ruben Garcia; father, Jose Maria Marin; brother, Jose Maria Marin, Jr.; half siblings, Palmira Marin Valadez, Jose Domingo Marin Valadez

She is survived by her children, Ruben Iram Garcia, Cristina Abigail Garcia, Dani Garcia; siblings, Celsa Adelita Marin Villamar, Thamara D'yadira Marin Rocha, Jose Maria Marin, Elena Myriam Marin Gomez, David Marin; grandchildren, Christabelle Garcia, Christopher Augustin Mora, Heart Lovelace, Joshua Axel Mora, Jasmyn Abigail Torres, Hailey Danielle Garcia, Destiny Danielle Mendez, and Dani Garcia Jr.; mother, Cristina Rocha viuda de Marin; half siblings, Maria Isabel Marin Baladez, Glafira Eulalia Marin Valadez and Bonfilio Marin Valadez. She loved her children and grandchildren and that is the greatest legacy she will leave behind.

A visitation for Clara will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.
