Cindy attended Monterrey High School and was a graduate of Texas Tech University, where she studied graphic design and earned her BFA in this field in 1975. She married Anthony Gregory Frisbie in August of 1975; they were married 41 years.
Cindy worked as a graphic artist and medical illustrator for Texas Tech Medical School for several years and later with her father as a graphic design creative. In 1990, she moved to Dallas where she continued to raise her two children and taught commercial art and did freelance design. Cindy was active in the community as secretary of the White Rock Neighborhood Association. She was a lifelong animal lover, owning six cats, and spoke Spanish fluently. She loved to read and was curious about psychological science and cosmology and was an avid mystery reader. She will be remembered for her creativity, her biting sense of humor, and her unlimited generosity.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Anthony, two children, Shannon and Erin, an aunt on her father’s side, Patsy Rutherford, and Patsy’s two children, Mark and Kay.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 28, 2017, from 6-8pm at the Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home located at 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218. Flowers can also be sent to this address. There will be a graveside funeral service on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at 2pm at Cox Cemetery located just past 4136 Dalgreen Drive Dallas Texas 75214 between Fisher Road and West Lawther Drive.
