Christopher Robert Ludeman II “Bobby” was born in Santa Monica 39 years ago. He is survived by his father Christopher and mother on earth Lynda, his precious son Bodhi and his mother Kay, brothers Blake (Jamie), Justin (Stephanie) and Cole, his nephew Rok, and niece Rue. Bobby’s mom and his grandparents preceded him in death. He loved his family deeply and above all else would want to be remembered for his devotion to 7 year-old Bodhi, who is incredibly loving, talented and funny.
Bobby was committed to giving back to his community in Dallas, Texas, by helping others with substance abuse and mental health. His Elements at Lakewood and Lakewood Recovery Center are lasting testimonies to his tireless work to restore hope, health and happiness to others. He was a beacon of light - a “NorthStar” – to countless people.
Although he went before his time, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. With edgy humor, stylish swag, and unparalleled optimism, Bobby never met a person he didn’t connect with or make laugh. He never missed an opportunity to mix-it-up, and challenge any discussion to encourage different perspectives. He was a gatherer and mentor of people.
The world will not be the same without Bobby, but we will make him proud of us by living as he would have wanted.
We are grateful for the incredible outpouring of love and support from our family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, with reception following.
