She was born December 30, 1949, in Atlanta, GA, to Lee Foster, Jr. and Evelyn Brazones Foster. The family relocated to Indianapolis before her first birthday. Christine spent many years in California early in her career and retired from her microbiologist position in Dallas, TX.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Jinks (2014). They enjoyed 26 years of marriage while traveling, enjoying Dallas Symphony music, reading and gardening. Christine’s activities included book clubs, bridge, Bunco group, mahjong, golf outings at the Dallas Athletic Club, travel, symphony concerts and most of all many activities at the Arboretum. She served as a Friend of the Dallas Arboretum and supporter for many years. Please enjoy her generous funding of a pocket garden by The Camp House called Tres Amigas and a Rose.
Christine was loved by many friends and a memorial celebration will be scheduled later.
Her wishes include encouragement for all to plant a flower, walk the Arboretum, pet a cat or dog in her honor and rejoice for the life that she lived.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Sparkman-Hillcrest.com for the Jinks family.
