Mr. Charlie Hall

Charlie Hall was born January 18, 1945, in Forney Texas to Ernest and CeBe Hall. At an early age he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, in Terrell, Texas where he lifted his voice in songs of worship and praise, with his Family’s group “The Little Wonders”. At the time of his transition, on December 30, 2024, Charlie was a member of Loving Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, in Desoto, Texas.

Throughout his life there were many accomplishments. Charlie was educated at Burnett High School in Terrell, Texas. He then received his Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Jarvis Christian College, in Hawkins, Texas, as well as his Master of Education Degree from Prairie View A&M University, in Prairie View, Texas. Charlie went on to serve in The United States Marine Corp., as well as the United States, National Guard, where he received an Honorable discharge from both Institutions. During his life, Charlie educated hundreds of children throughout Texas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. In 2014, he retired as Principle from The Shelby County School District in Memphis, Tennessee.

On June 4th, 1976, Charlie married the love of his Life, Liller Williams-Hall, who preceded him in death, on November 9, 2018. Through that union, one Child, Brandon Charles Hall was born.

Charlie is preceded in death by his Parents, Ernest and CeBe Hall. His wife, Liller Williams-Hall. Three Brothers, Ernest Hall Jr. (Lovey), Otis Hall (Verline) James Hall (Belinda) and one Sister Annielee (James) Spencer.

To cherish his memory, he leaves one Son, Brandon Charles Hall: His Daughter-in-law, Berneshecia Hall and his only grandson, Christopher Charles Hall, all of Desoto, Texas. He leaves Three Biological Sisters: Rosie Davis (Mervin), of Houston, TX, Gertis Sears (James) of Terrell, Texas and Georgia Brumley, of Rockwall, Texas. Four Brother’s-in-law James Williams Jr., John Williams (Debra), Pastor Bruce Williams (Doris), of Memphis, Tennessee, and James “Calvin” Williams, of Garland, Texas. Three Sister’s-in-Law, Martha Williams, Mary Williams-Henderson, of Mt. Pleasant, Mississippi, and Linda Williams (Timothy), of Lewisville, Texas. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
