Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Roy T. White.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 72 years, Emma Dorothy (Volcik) White; daughter, Charlet Ann (White) Cowan; son, Stephen Dewayne White; granddaughters, Stephenie Gail (White) Zdrojewski and husband StanleyAnthony Zdrojewski, and Veronica Michelle (White) Belmont and husband Benjamin Adam Belmont; great-grandchildren, Emma Jane, Katerina Gail, and Luke Anthony Zdrojewski, and Clara Jane and Morgan Michelle Belmont; and sisters, Mary Anita Richardson and Janice Cross.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 10:00 A.M., all at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
Following the Interment, a reception will be held at the Gospel Lighthouse Church, 5525 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211.
