Mr. Crain, a native of Springfield, Ill., died Tuesday at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, after a private and courageous battle with cancer. He was 54.
Tony graduated from San Angelo Central High School, and from Cal State Northridge. He retired after a 32 year career in the telecommunications industry in 2008.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles A. Crain Sr. in 1994. Survivors include his wife Mariann Crain of Valley Ranch, TX; his children Kelsey and Nick Crain of Carrollton, TX, his step-daughter Amy and husband Chris Barreiro of Flower Mound, TX; his mother Carole Crain of Indian Wells, CA; his brothers Rick Crain and wife Lindy of Dallas, TX, and Michael T. Crain of Seattle, WA.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at St. Paul Hospital for the fine care provided Tony during his long stay there.
