My sincerest sympathy, and condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Charles Simpson. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Simpson for many years. His sage wisdom, and sense of humor made even the darkest of days bearable. We shared inside jokes that I still laugh about to this day. He affectionately nicknamed me, "Ramona" and "Kiddo." And he was, "Dapper Dan" or "GQ" because he was truly a man of class, and distinction that never met a suit that he didn't wear well. He left an indelible mark on my heart. I'll treasure those memories forever. Rest well my friend until we meet again. "Ramona"

Words cannot express how I felt when i read the message I received from his family telling me he had passed away.   I too have worked with Mr Simpson for over 30 years but we remained friends and kept in touch even after he retired in 2019. I am so grateful for all the words of wisdom that he provided after i lost my father. He helped  me through a difficult time in my life and i would like to thank Charles and Tay for sharing their father with me. I going to miss that guy!! Rest well my friend!!!

I'm still rather speechless. You were such an amazing addition to my life and acted as my "godfather" for years. Sunday fish dinners were the best times for laughs and listening to your great stories. I'm going to really miss you. Rest in peace

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to my former IRS coworker and friend - to his family and friends. Charles will be remembered and missed. I had many fun times, and tall stories from him. One in particular was he couldn’t get wet from the rain - he would get a cold - so I had to share my umbrella if we got caught in the rain on the way to the parking lot.

My sincere heartfelt condolences to the Simpson Family.  Charles and I met while working for the Internal Revenue Service over 30 years ago.  He had a warm and inviting spirit and made it easy to talk to him about anything.  He was known as being dapper always dressed to impress with a swagger in his walk.  He was quite the prankster with a great sense of humor.  I'm glad he shared his family, adventures and hometown of Trinidad TX with my daughter and me.  She referred to him as "the Godfather".                                                              He will truly be missed!

My deepest condolences to the Simpson family. Charles was a dear friend and coworker. He was a joy. He made you laugh all the time. And the walk he had was the next best thing to Denzels lol. He will truly be missed.
