Charles “Chuck” Edward Perkins was born November 4, 1933 in Paris, Texas to union of Mr. Lee Roy & Lola Perkins. Charles passed away at his residence surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday August 5, 2017. Charles spent 8 years in the United States Air Forces and 2 years in the Reserves. In the early days of the Air Force, he met his wife, Elaine Perkins while serving in England. They married in England on January 21, 1954 and spent 63 wonderful years together.
Charles was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a man who truly loved his family unconditionally.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Lola Perkins; his son, Roy Anthony Perkins; two brothers, Carlton Leroy Perkins and Paul Edwin Perkins.
Charles is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elaine Perkins; two sons, Earl R. Estey and David K. Perkins and wife Lori Perkins; one daughter Katherine E. Rymer and her husband Nick Rymer; 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, and host of other relatives and friends that will greatly missed Charles.
