Charles D. Feuerbacher

Charles Dudley Feuerbacher, age 89, of Corsicana, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Charles was born November 17, 1932 in Dallas to Herbert Todd & Hannah Mattie Feuerbacher. Charles was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Irving High School in 1950 and went on to serve in the United States Navy for 4 years during the Korean War as an electrician's mate 2nd class.

Charles married JoAnn Grayson in 1956 and the couple went on to have 4 children. He was an assistant shift foreman at DPL and Big Brown Power Plant for many years until his retirement. In his spare time, Charles enjoyed boating, fishing, and welding as well as spending time with his family, watching the boob tube, and listening to music. His family will always remember him as a loving husband, father, and grandpa and for his signature Hawaiian shirts with shorts.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Herbert & Hannah Feuerbacher, his brother and sister-in-law; Harry & Louise Feuerbacher, his nephew; Johnny Feuerbacher, his loving wife of 44 years; JoAnn Feuerbacher, his daughter; Cheryl Ann Mahoney, and grandson; Dudley Feuerbacher.

Charles is survived by his son; Matt Feuerbacher and partner Darrell Henson of Irving, Texas, his daughter; Mary Blackman & husband Gary Blackman of Corsicana, Texas, his son Berry Feuerbacher and wife Sandy Feuerbacher of Crystal Springs, Arkansas, grandson; Adam Feuerbacher and wife Cynthia Feuerbacher of Dallas, Texas, granddaughter; Savannah Jennings and husband Daniel Jennings of Hubbard, Texas, granddaughter; Haley Tyner and husband Ryan Tyner of Corsicana, Texas, grandson; Jackson Feuerbacher of Crystal Springs, Arkansas, great grandchildren; Charles Feuerbacher, Sofia Feuerbacher, Landon Blackman, Cayden Jennings, Teagan Jennings, Lane Tyner, Laytyn Tyner, Kannon Tyner, and Berrett Feuerbacher as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Charles will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. Following the graveside service will be a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
