Charles E Chase

He received his education at St. Peters Catholic School in North Dallas and served as an altar boy during his school years.

Following graduation, Mr. Chase enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served from March 3, 1952 until November 11, 1953 and was discharged in San Diego, California.

Mr. Chase retired in 2000 from Veterans Hospital and also worked for Holy Cross Catholic Church where he was a devoted member for over 25 years and he received numerous awards for his public service.

His son, Charles Jr. preceded him in death in October of 2006.

Those left to cherish his memories are: His first love, Esther F. Chase (they were married on October 23, 1953); his children Sandra Washington (Curtis) and Valerie Cook Chase. Grandchildren: James, Amanda, Brianna, Katherine, and Anthony. Great grandchildren: Naomi, Jerrell, Tommy, Zacchaeus, and Zephaniah. 2 brothers, Sterling Chase (Lillian) and Ronnie Chase (Virginia), In Laws: Addie Mae, Barbara, Irma, numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and his Holy Cross Church Family.
