Charles E. Bettinger was born on August 25, 1920 in Waco, Texas and passed away at the age of 90 on May 31, 2011. He is survived by his wife Mary Joyce Bettinger and children Charles E. Bettinger Jr., Brenda Gambill, Debra Wood, Bobby Moore, Billy Moore and Bruce Moore. Preceded in death by Jimmy Moore. Charlie leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the funeral home. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Meadows Baptist Church, 3001 Los Rios Blvd., Plano, TX 75074. Family request that any memorial be sent to the American Cancer Society.
