Hard to believe it’s been three years. I think of Carroll often, and know that he is thrilled to be in the presence of God. Blessings on Debbie and the boys. 

It’s hard the believe that it’s been two years since my dear friend entered into the arms of God. His quiet spirit, his faithfulness as a husband and father, and his constancy as a brother and friend continue to be an inspiration to me. May God continue to bless Debbie, Thomas and Logan. 

I just now received this information on May 31st and I had to stop what I was doing due to my tears. I met Carroll in 2006. It was my first time to purchase a home. He made feel so comfortable because frankly I was so worried about what I was getting into. He always went out of his way to help me understand what was in my best interest. What a great and caring individual he was. As I write I can look up and remember that smiling face anytime I entered his office. I can only imagine how his family is taking this. I know a lot of people always write "he is in a better place now" and I reply "he is in the BEST place now" It was my extreme pleasure to know this person. I didn't know Carroll for a long time but we worked together in recent years and he was so delightful and knowledgeable.  I could see his clients thought the world of him and I did, too.  My heart is heavy to hear of his passing.  My prayers go out to his family and I just want them to know what a special person I found him to be, even in the short time I knew him.  God has a special angel in heaven. 

I met Carroll 15 years ago when I had just received my real estate license.  In the beginning; he taught me a great deal about real estate and lending and did it with such a true heart of giving.  We would go onto put many fantastic families into homes together.  There was no other professional that I had more trust in.  While we met as business peers, Carroll also become a good friend as we would talk about our connections to West Texas.  I really can't imagine not seeing him every week but his knowledge and compassion lives on in so many folks in our industry not to mention the many home owners that were blessed with his service and expertise.  You will be greatly missed my good friend.  Thanks for all you have done.  

Bini was my lifetime friend. Just like Joey Cope mentioned,  it was difficult to call him by his adult name. A super intelligent , loyal. Friend.  I've been thinking about our blessed childhood. The Dyer home was a delight to visit. Helen and my mother were always very close. It was a great time to be a child in Lubbock. Texas. I have every confidence that we will see each other again Bini. 

Bini (it was always hard for me to address him by his adult name, Carroll) was one of those people who quietly, happily shared life's path with me in my early years and who was a pleasure to see throughout my life as our paths crossed -- and they seemed to cross often. We carpooled to kindergarten, we attended the same Sunday school class and our families were always connected through our church life. Our college years took us different directions, yet our common ground stayed firm. When I began work at Abilene Christian University, I was delighted to find Carroll was an ardent alumnus and a constant presence at events. Our visits reminded me of his great spirit and love for people, including me. His kindness and good humor were always present. I'll miss those visits, even though they were often too short. I'm praying for peace and comfort for the family. Bini, you are a blessing to me.

Carroll was one of those quiet, gentle giants among us.  He was the same Carroll whenever you saw him.  What a wonderful spirit of love!   Heaven is rejoicing as we will all miss Carroll at Prestoncrest.  My thoughts and prayers to the family.

I became a real estate agent when I joined my wife in 1999.   Carroll was someone on whom one could always depend for sound advice.  Loved working with him and things will never be the same in his absence.  We will greatly miss him.

I've known Carroll since we were 8 years old. Benni was his name back then.  We went to the same church, same junior and senior high schools and then ended up at ACU together and we joined the same fraternity. While we were not close after college, we did stay in touch and keep track of one another. My point is this; without hesitation I can state that Carroll Dyer was the most stable, dependable, most gracious man I have ever known. Benni never changed from his authentic self. He was a man of integrity, honesty, and loyalty. He never waived his beliefs, values, or principles for anyone or anything. Yet, he was one of the most accepting individuals I have ever known. He did not insist on his own way as being the only way. Carroll "Benni" Dyer was a true gentleman! Heaven is a more complete place now that Carroll is there!
