Carolyn Sue Dantzler

Carolyn Sue McDaniel Dantzler passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023 at the age of 85 at her home in Waxahachie, Texas surrounded by her loving family and friends. Carolyn was born December 13, 1937 to Ashby B. McDaniel and Mozelle McDaniel at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Carolyn graduated from Sunset High School, Dallas Rutherford Business School, completed real estate courses at Mountain View Community College and Dallas Baptist University. She worked as a bookkeeper, secretary to the Chairman Emeritus, real estate broker, and Mary Kay Cosmetics. She experienced many weird and exciting careers.

She enjoyed telling stories for hours, gave crazy gifts for all special occasions and loved going on trips and traveling. After marrying the love of her life, John Edward (Eddie) Dantzler, they moved to Alaska the year it received its statehood. The Cowboy Church of Ellis County, Waxahachie, Texas always held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her two sons Huntly Dantzler and wife Susan Dantzler,Tracy Dantzler and wife Renee Dantzler; grandchildren Jennifer Castillo and husband Matthew Castillo, Huntly Dantzler II, Christine Baca and husband Joshua Baca, Christopher Dantzler, Allison Crisp and husband Nathan Crisp, William Clark and wife Kayla Whitaker Clark; great-grandchildren, James Dantzler, Cason Clark.
