TO ALL THE COLEMAN FAMILY AND FRIENDS.  i know that even thougth he's gone,  he is still here with us. in the leave of the trees that he planted, in the fruits that bloom in full swing in the seasons. in the shade of the enormous tree that we all so dearly love.

Thank you for being who God made you to be! 

You were my #1 Hype-Man! You supported me, encouraged me and were always there to “Hype Me UP” in anything I endeavored to do.  Nothing was ever too small, nothing ever seemed to be a waste of your time.  I knew that I could ALWAYS count on you, and you NEVER DISAPPOINTED ME.  There were plenty of times I felt that you were rougher on Krystal and me, but now I understand, and I appreciate how you addressed and corrected us.  I will always remember how you would have Aunt Jeanette call me just so I could sing to you… and you always wanted to hear “There’s a Leak in This Old Building” by Lashon Pace.  




You knew when to be hard on us and you knew how to love us.  Many times, Granny would tell you not to take us to school, but you would still take us, because that’s what we wanted you to do.  I often laugh about the times we were together when you were teaching us how to drive, those were fun times.   I remember after my surgery; you were there for me.  You would work all day, come home tired, but you made sure you got up every 4 hours to confirm that I had my medicine and that I was ok.  You were a man of integrity and you showed love.  You took care of Granny.  I know you loved her and all of your family!  Your example showed me what I should have in a husband.  You didn’t just encourage us to go to church, or send us, but you would get up, have breakfast with the men, then come home, pick up Granny, Krystal and me and you took us to church.  You encouraged us to read the Bible and you made sure that we knew that God should be our first priority.
One of the verses in “There’s a Leak in this Old Building says, “…when I’m dead and gone, I’ll be living in my brand new home…”  well, that last time you were in the hospital, he was putting your final touches on your home… but Thursday, it was complete…  No more leaks, You’ve got a BRAND NEW HOME!  You’ve got another building, It’s ETERNAL, and It’s made by God’s hands.
