Brian Ward McCormick

Our beloved brother, Brian McCormick, passed away Tuesday, September 27th, 2016. Brian was born November 29th, 1959 in Chicago, and grew up and lived his life in Dallas, Texas. He attended St. Rita Catholic School, and was a graduate of W.T. White. A long-time, dedicated employee of the Dr Pepper Company, he was definitely one of a kind. Brian was an avid sports fan, and could always be found watching a ball game. He cherished the many family gatherings and time spent with good friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. and Frances McCormick, and sister, Susan. He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Tim and Robin McCormick, Sharon Sullivan, Tom and Susan McCormick, Janet and John Maher, MaryLynn and Charlie Barnard, John McCormick, Jim and Yolanda McCormick, and Maureen and Ron Hoofard, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.

Brian’s life will be celebrated with a memorial mass on Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Hill North Chapel (3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
