Brenda Sue Harmonson

Brenda Sue Harmonson, age 79 of Dallas, passed away on July 25, 2016 with her loving family at her side. She was born on March 10, 1937 in Stephenville, Texas, the daughter of Idella and Jack Farrar. Brenda celebrated 60 years of marriage with her husband, John Harmonson, who survives.

In addition to her husband John, Brenda is survived by her children: Kay Green, Melanie Oneill and husband John, and David Harmonson and wife Clara; grandchildren Michael Zuniga, J.T. Oneill, Danielle Rice and Blake Green; great grandchildren Matthew Zuniga, Shelley Zuniga, Chase Oneill, Lanie Oneill, Ryan Rice and Chloe Green. Brenda joins her parents, brother Clarence Farrar, and grandson Zachary Harmonson in Heaven.

Brenda was a lady of faith and was a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and attending the book clubs. Brenda will be remembered for her warm smile and great sense of humor. She also enjoyed collecting many things, including her many hats. In her spare time, Brenda enjoyed visiting Starbucks and meeting many new people, all of whom were never strangers. Brenda’s greatest joy was her family and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends at visitation on Wednesday, July 27 from 6-8PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Thursday, July 28 at 10AM. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
