"Nita" grew up in various cities including San Ana, California where is started to work at JC Penney's starting as a window dresser. She had a long, successful career at JC Penny's for over 36 years. She was a very faithful member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church and was on the prayer committee.
"Nita" was extremely proud of her step-daughter Jennifer, her husband Michael and grandson Drake. She thought Jennifer hung the moon. "Nita's" entire family will miss her generous spirit and her love of all animals including her sweet Corgi Brae and especially the Monarch butterflies who migrated through her yard each fall.
"Nita" is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Berger; step-daughter Jennifer Hatcher; step son-in-law Michael Hatcher; grandson Drake Hatcher; sister Sandie Silvers, sister Cherie Ditto and brother-in-law Jack Ditto.
"Nita" was preceded in death by; father William C Silvers and mother Bonnita Y Silvers; uncle Glen V Silvers.
She also leaves behind to cherish her memory many loving family members which include nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
A memorial service for "Nita" will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3601 West 15th Street, Plano, Texas 75075.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in "Nita's" memory may be made to Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas.
