Bobby Cameron Terry

Bobby Cameron Terry of Dallas passed away December 13, 2013. He was born June 24, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to Margaret and Lee Terry. A long-time member of Casa View Baptist Church, he most recently attended Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church. Bobby graduated from N R Crozier Tech High School (CT-48) and also attended North Texas State University. He operated Lochwood Paint Center in Dallas from 1957 to 1991, finishing his career with Inland Sales Co. Bobby was a sports enthusiast, playing high school basketball, then many years of fast pitch softball. His love of golf is where he gained many lifelong friends, playing at Tenison Park, other local courses, and then the last 30 years at Van Zandt Country Club in Canton, Texas (home to “Terry Gardens”). Bobby is survived by wife Nancy, two sons, Robert and wife Kathie, Mike and wife Lisa, three grandchildren (Pam, Donna, Christopher) and two great-grandchildren (Aiden, Grayson). A Memorial Service will be held at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bobby’s favorite charity, Disabled American Veterans @ P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
