She was married to Bernardo Salas in 1978. She had four children and served as a seamstress for Jarrell, Inc., Audry, Charming and Texas Rangers Concession where she worked for more than thirty years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking classic Mexican dishes, sewing, knitting, and watching telenovelas.
Her friends and family will always remember her as a caring, resourceful, and strong-willed mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a proud member and cornerstone of the West Dallas Community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Maria de Jesus Saenz Aleman; sisters, Oralia Saenz Aleman and Hortencia Saenz Aleman. She is survived by her husband, Bernardo Salas; daughter, Maria Mendez and her husband, Daniel Mendez; son, Antonio Saenz, daughter, Deborah Salas and her partner, Gerrod Garrett; daughter, Veronica Huskey and her husband, Prince Gary Huskey; grandchildren, Eric Mendez, Elyssa Mendez, Melissa Lew, Andres Salas, Sydney Garrett; siblings, Roberto Saenz, Hector Saenz, Juan Saenz, Alejandro Saenz, Rosa Maria Saenz, vda. de Martinez, Graciela Saenz, vda. de Gamboa, and Mirella Saenz de Rodriguez.
