Billy James Little

Billy proudly served our country in the US Navy and Marines. He graduated from North Dallas High School. He earned his master's degree in teaching from the University of North Texas, and worked as a teacher at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, Texas for 38 years.

Billy was a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dallas, where he served as a Eucharistic minister and CCD teacher. He loved history, piano, booked, classical music, church, and gardening.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joan Little; son, Justin Little (Cheryl); daughter, Martha Dempsey; and grandchildren, Callie Little, James Little, Joshua Little, Max Dempsey, and Kyla Dempsey.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dallas on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with entombment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett.
