Billy A. Key

Billy Andrew Key, age 80, passed away on December 1, 2020. Billy was born on May 26, 1940 in Leonard, Texas. After high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy. On June 9, 1962, Billy married the love of his life, Melva Eason. For most of his career, he worked in electronics for Raython.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Broadus Andrew Key and Ethel Lee Bishop; brother, Clyde Key; and daughter-in-law, Marian Key. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Melva Key; son, Frank Key; grandchildren, Brittany, Daniel, Elizabeth, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jessalyn, Huntley, Avianna, Kobe, Xavier, Emily, Elijah, and Kayden; and siblings, Gene Key and Norma Valdez.

A visitation for Billy will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218. A graveside service will occur Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Memoryland Memorial Park, 808 W. Jack Finney Blvd, Greenville, TX 75402.
