Billy was raised in Dallas, Texas (Pleasant Grove) and graduated from W.W. Samuel High School in 1972. He married Terri Sue Pryor in 1979 and the couple had two children. He was a mail carrier at the United States Post Office where he worked for more than thirty years.
In his spare time Billy enjoyed fishing, sunsets on the ocean, dirt track racing, spending time with his family and friends along with living abroad near a beach.
His family and friends will always remember him as an avid fisherman, loving father, race car mechanic, loyal friend and lover of sunsets.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bartlett E. Burleson and Mary Frances Call.
