Billie Louise Brooks

Billie Louise Brooks, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She was born October 3, 1934 in Dallas, Texas to William and Martha Brooks. Billie was raised in Dallas, Texas and was a manager at Russel Stover Candy and Baker at Albertson's where she worked for many years.

In her spare time Billie enjoyed having friends and neighbors over, cooking, gardening and special projects. Billie loved to cook and deliver food to neighbors. Her friends and family will always remember her as someone with a generous heart, a lover of animals and a fun person to be around. She was always up for celebrating life and hosting a party.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Brooks; sister, Velma and brother-in-law, Chester. Left to cherish her memory are nieces, Tammy Acker, Janet Martin and husband, Chris Martin and Cathy Williams and nephew, Michael Williams.

Billie's memory will be in the hearts of the many people who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA or any cancer foundation of your choice.

An inurnment for Billie will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 3:30 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. Following the inurnment will be a celebration of life from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
