“Mr. Bill" graduated from Booker. Washington High School then served his Country 4 years in the U.S. Army. He started a career as a Valet Attendant, his personality allowed him to work many years assisting his customer, as he was an absolute delight to be around.
"Mr. Bill was a long time and faithful member of The Cornerstone Baptist Church.
“Mr. Bill” was consider an Entertainer he loved his family, friends and had a passion for music, dominoes and shooting pool.
“Mr. Bill” leaves to cherish his memories children: Bernie Brookins, Howard Brookins and Lisa Jefferson. 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
“Mr. Bill” is preceded in death by his wife Tina Brookins, son Bill Brookins, daughter Ruby Calhoun, grandson Anthony Davis, two sisters and 2 brothers.
"Mr. Bill" will be missed dearly by everyone that knew and loved him.
