Dear Sweet Betty,

There were so many times when I called and whatever I needed you made it happen.  I truly appreciated the sound advice you gave me and the many laughs we had at crucial times when a good laugh was all I needed.  You are now in the capable and loving hands of the best caregiver you could ever have.  RIP!  Gone, but never forgotten.  


 I will miss you Betty. You were such a Joyful Soul to be around! We had so much fun at work through the years.  I will never forget you.
May the memories help heal your loved ones hearts.  You are gone too soon.

I am sadden to learn of my class mate's death. She was a very smart but unassuming person. During our time at Richfield High School I found then, Betty White, to be a deep thinker and a compassionate person. Although, we had not seen each other since our twenty year High School Reunion, Betty, will be missed.

To the family, it is not often, you encounter a person like Betty Kay Williamson, so I pray and hope you will embrace her memory. By doing so, it is my belief, you will have known what love looks and acts like.

Mrs. Betty was an amazing person/friend to all and valuable member of the FedEx family lost too soon on this earth, only to gain eternal life.  The words which come to me:  "A Life Well Lived, Mrs. Betty".  

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.

I had the privilege of working with Sweet Betty for about 4 years as, she was my District Admin. Betty knew everything. Period! No questions asked and Betty worked so hard for our team, others and FedEx. Betty was always going above and beyond for others. Betty, I thank you for being so amazing and my deepest condolences to your family. You are loved!

Betty or as I called her B, was so instrumental 
in my everyday work life. We worked side by side in the late 90’s at FedEx. I could go to her with any question and ask for guidance. She was such a blessing to all of us at the regional office. I’ll always remember the great talks we had and the many laughs we shared.

Betty, I was so saddened by the news.  You were a joy to be around and will miss your smile.  I used to love talking about your daughter and my son as they were the same age and sharing stories about what each were doing.   You were a shining star in the office and it wont be the same without you.

Betty was my Sales Coordinator for the Southwest Region from 1996-2001.
I spent many good times with her both professionally and personally.
She always had a smile and wonderful disposition. I don’t remember ever seeing her in a bad mood, cheerful and helpful always.
I remember visiting her when she became a mother with her beautiful baby girl.....her life!

To Betty's family,
My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to all of Betty's family.  I know you loved her very much.  I too love and will miss Betty.  She was very special.  I met Betty at FedEx in 1994 when I was hired to replace her as secretary for Ty Deleon.  Betty had been promoted as Ty's Service Coordinator.  She trained me and was so sweet and kind to me.  I will never forget how helpful and friendly she was.  We became friends and I will always treasure my memories of our friendship.  We shared talks about our families, work and life.  She was very proud of her daughter and nephew and loved them so much.   Although Betty was ill, she always took the time to ask about my Dad's health and said she would pray for him.  No matter how sick she was, she always thought about others.   It was such a gift to have known Betty.  May God bless her beautiful soul and she peacefully rest in heaven.

I had the pleasure of working with Betty in the 80’s as FedEx was growing at an amazing pace. Despite the daily challenges Betty was always the calm during our daily storm. She was empathetic and loving to people who needed support every day. She was a gem.

She was quite and shy at first but we soon experienced the wit she contained along with her infectious laugh and beautiful smile.

Betty, you will be terribly missed by all of us who knew and loved you. I always looked forward to sitting down with you to discuss work but  more importantly to discuss life. You always had such great advice and you were one of the best listeners I have ever met.  It was an honor to say you were a friend.

You taught me the ropes at FedEx and I could always ask you for anything as you were a wealth of knowledge.  Only later did I learn what a huge heart you had and you became a good friend.  You fought a hard fight and I always thought you would win.  I guess the Lord just needed his special Betty home with him.  We will miss you and your laughter.  Until we meet again my friend.

To Betty Boo my friend and mentor.  You took me out to lunch with Therese and Mike my first week at FedEx in Dallas in 2007 and we bonded from then on.   I will miss you playing the "Devil's Advocate" when I came to you with issues and we ended up debating.  I don't believe I won any of those debates though.  I wished I could have talked you on Friday when I called on my way to Dallas or stopped by on my way home.  I didn't want to disturb you but I wished I could have said goodbye.  I love you and will miss you my friend.

Betty was my secretary at FedEx for several years in the late 80's.  She was a wonderful person who always had a glowing, contagious smile and an encouraging word.  She was dependable, honest, helpful and sincere.  I loved her and I loved her work.  She was special.

I was blessed to know her and she blessed all those around her.  

May you have peace and great memories during this time of sorrow and mourning.

Betty, you practically hired me. I still keep those daily work journals you encouraged me to keep. Your dry humor and sarcasm paired with your love of life and wisdom will always remain with me. You will be missed by all of those who met you and you touched so many people. Rest in the loving arms of God, my friend.

Betty and I worked together and became friends early on.  We shared our work and family struggles with each other and she was always there to listen.  Betty was a loving & giving soul and I always looked forward to seeing her smile.  I will miss her a lot!

Will miss you always Betty B. ( nickname Bettyboo).  Mostly your effervescent personality, sarcasm and dry wit.  Thanks for all the long talks filled with laughter, encouragement and support.  You taught me the most about strength, perserverance and dignity.  Rest in heaven dear angel, you received your reward!

Betty I can remember the times I worked in the same building with you and you were always smiling and honest. When I went out in the field  you continued to keep in touch via Lois and the team, but you were always the same Happy Betty. I remember when you became a Mother How Happy You were. And I will always remember even in the last days when I came to visit you still were that Happy Smiling Betty, RIH because I know Heaven has gained a Beautiful Angel. 

Betty, when I walked into my new job as Sales Secretary you taught me everything I needed to know to be effective.  We shared a lot of good times traveling to Sales Meetings.  You will always be on my heart.
