Betty Lou Payne Turner, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 10, 2016. She was born in Blue Ridge, Georgia on December 14, 1929 to Howard David Payne and his wife, Bessie Jackson Payne. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William H. Turner III and Beverly Turner, daughter Lou Ann Boling, grandsons Chad Nixon, Cody Turner, Cliff Crouch, and Drew Turner, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of beloved family and friends. Family Visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. on March 16, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, Garland Chapel, directly followed by an 11:00 a.m. memorial service. Private burial will be at the DFW National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children’s Ministry at the First Baptist Church, Garland, Texas.
