Betty was married to Larry Starr for 20+ years until his passing in September 2020. She was also a dedicated employee at Cash Saver off Ledbetter in Dallas for 20+ years. She had a way of making people laugh by simply saying what was on her mind.

She is preceded in death by her Mother: Helen Woods-Booker, Father Cecil Lawrence and sister Carolyn Booker-Clark.

Betty is survived by: Sons: Donald Dabbs Jr and Torye (Marjorie) Dabbs all of Dallas, TX; Brothers: Joe Booker Jr, of Dallas, TX, William Booker, of Mississippi, Larry (Margaret)Booker, of Dallas, TX, Billy Booker, of Dallas, TX and Cecil Lawrence, of Paris TX; Sisters: Helen Nickerson-Jones, of Sherman, TX, Patrica Booker, of Paris, TX, Vickie Lawrence, of Princeton, TX, Janice Lawrence, of Mesquite, TX, and Dorothy Lawrence, of Paris, TX, Best Friend/Sister Michelle Dabbs Richardson, Last living Aunt Louise Scott, of Dallas TX, Donald Dabbs Sr. of Dallas TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
