Betty L. Bradley passed away July 28, 2010 in Baylor Hospital from complications of heart and lungs. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, November 1, 1925 and spent her early years in Columbus with her grandmother while her parents traveled as Photographers for the Associated Press. After moving to Dallas, she attended and graduated from Sunset High School and attended The University of Oklahoma. After High School she went to work for Air Corps Supply at Tarrant Field (Joint Reserve Base) in Ft. Worth where she met her husband, of 64 years, (Brad). She was a great Mother, organizer, football fan, and our Tower of Strength. Her survivors are; Son, Jimmy Bradley, Granddaughter, Susan Gleiser, Daughter Iris Bradley, and Husband James T. Bradley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 30th at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31st at Highland Park United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bradley Scholarship-Highland Park Education Foundation, Highland Park United Methodist Youth Choir, or SMU Athletic Department.
