She is the oldest of 3 siblings; her brother Christopher Henry and her little sister Amy Henry. She was the caretaker for many years in her childhood. She loved, cared and supported her family endlessly.
She was an extremely intelligent woman and graduated top of her class in 1985 from Gueydan High School. She was voted most likely to succeed. After college she went on to be Logistics/Claims Specialist for well over 15 years.
Beth married her best friend and love of her life Melissa Laurence, whom she had known for over 14 years, on Monday, August 10, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Melissa found her soulmate and gained two beautiful daughters through this union, Fallon and Katie Henry. Together they loved spending time with the girls and their dogs.
Beth will be truly remembered for her beauty inside and out. She was affectingly called Nanny, Beth-Mobile, Nanner-Banner, Bethanial and Bethany. She loved to listen, sing and dance to music. She loved any music that got her foot tapping or hands clapping! Especially songs that made her soul sing. Beth played the meanest air guitar solos you ever saw!
When she was wasn't busy spending time with her many friends and family, you could find her floating in the pool, jet skiing, tending to her garden or the many critters she found and took in or also four wheeling in the Razor. She loved her fur babies as much as she loved her human babies.
She will always be remembered for being on the water jumping huge waves, rocking in her favorite chair or cruising the streets in her Beemer (BMW). She was known for her sayings, “You gotta Believe!", "Drive it like you stole it!" Ditto, XOXO, "Attra versiamo" and "laissez les bon temps rouler."
Beth is survived by her spouse, Melissa Laurence; daughter Fallon Henry; son-in-law Tyler Arnold; daughter Katie Henry; and son-in-law Fabian Hernandez; mother-in-law Linda Laurence; sister Amy Henry, sister-in-law Katrina Laurence, sister-in-law Sherry Laurence, brother-in-law Robert Laurence married to Callie, brother-in-law Richard Laurence married to Brittany, sister-in-law Stacy Laurence, nephew Chris Jr. Henry, great-niece Abigail Henry, nephew Dillion Henry, niece Summer Henry, fur baby Graeme Henry-Laurence, fur baby Adian Henry-Laurence, fur baby Eli Henry-Laurence and fur baby Paisley Henry-Laurence.
Beth was preceded in death by; father Daniel Henry and mother Carolyn Henry; Brother Christopher Henry.
A memorial service for Beth will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Road, Dallas, Texas.
