Benny grew up in Waskom, TX and baptized at an early age at New Boggy Baptist Church. Where he was known and loved by many. He attended Waskom Independent School District. He later moved to Dallas, TX and along his journey he married Erma Jean Montgomery-Sherman.
He held many jobs throughout his life, but his passion was helping his family and friends. He was very generous with his love. Benny loved to cook…Buffalo fish was his favorite. He also loved a “Good Work Truck”, to fix on and haul things. He always was willing to lend a hand where needed. There wasn’t anything that he wouldn’t do for his family or friends.
