Benjamin B Daniel

DANIEL, BENJAMIN B, beloved husband to Kathy Daniel, father, stepfather, grandfather, mentor, friend, and hero, passed away suddenly but peacefully surrounded by his family on August 23, 2013. He is now resting in the loving arms of his Lord. Ben was born on October 17, 1946 in Delark, Arkansas to Blake and Mary Cathryn Daniel. He graduated from Irving High School in 1965 and went on to the University of Texas at Arlington. From there, Ben went to work for Aircraft Engine and Accessory, Inc. in Dallas for 40 years where he made life-long friends with his co-workers and customers alike and retired in 2011. He spent his retirement years enjoying his passions; fishing and tinkering with model airplanes.

Ben is preceded in death by his mother and father, Benjamin Blake Daniel. He is survived by his daughters Veronica Ware and her husband Tony of San Antonio and grandson Christian; and Jennifer Hemingway and her husband Michael of Terrell, Texas and granddaughter Rebecca; sister Judy Norris of Carrollton, Texas; nieces Kim Allen of Carrollton, Kenya Sprague of Lewisville, Texas, and Kelli Norris of Houston, Texas. He was "Papa Ben" to his stepson, Paul and daughter-in-law Marie of Frisco, Texas and grandsons Ashton and Ayden; and step-daughter Nikki Walker and son-in-law Chay Walker from Austin, Texas and gradson Thane and granddaughter Charley. Visitation will be held at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home located at Frakford Road and Coit in dallas, Texas on Monday 26, 2013 at 11:00am and services will following at 1:00pm.
