Benito Trevino, born in Cotula, Texas to his father, Onofre Trevino and mother, Sara De La Paz, peacefully slipped away at the age of 82 on the afternoon of May 29th, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family.
As a young boy he was raised in Hale Center, Texas where he became a young man who enjoyed going to local sock hops and driving his car. After laying eyes on Ramona Jimenez he fell in love and in 1960 made her Ramona Trevino.
Together the couple had six children they raised in Dallas, Texas where he was a truck driver for over thirty years before he retired. After retirement Benito could be found enjoying wrestling while sitting in his recliner, or cuddling with his dogs.
Spending time with his family, enjoying food, telling stories and watching his legacy grow brought so much joy and love to him. His presence will be felt and missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He is greeted in heaven by his father, Onofre Trevino; mother, Sara De La Paz; brother, Onofre Miguel Trevino; in-laws, Emilio and Clara Jimenez, along with the wagging tale of his boxer, Brandy.
