Barbara Elaine Stone

Barbara Elaine Quarles Stone, age 73, passed away on May 15, 2024 in Naples, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Billy and Vera Quarles. Barbara was raised in Dallas and married Kevin Bird in 1970 and the couple had two children. She worked as a Technical Support Specialist for Sprint for more than 20 years.

In her spare time Barbara enjoyed tending to her garden, loving on her dogs and cats and playing computer games. Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring and family loving woman.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Vera Quarles; her loving husband, Charles Wayne Stone; son, Aaron Bird and daughter, Elaine Bird Gonzales. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, John Quarles and Rick Quarles; granddaughter, Zoey Gonzales; son-in-law, Joey Gonzales; several nieces and nephews and close friends, Dave and Ann Kenney and Pat Landers.

A graveside service for Barbara will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
