Barbara Kropp Kropp McQuillan

Was born January 4, 1929 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her parents were Jack and Lucille Kropp. Barbara moved with her family to Dallas in 1936. She graduated from Highland Park High School and attended the University of Colorado and Southern Methodist University where she was a member of Kapa Alpha Theta. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had many friends some that endured from early school days until the end of her life. She was preceded by her parents and her first husband, Wesley Crawford. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Joseph McQuillan, two daughters, Kittye Clark (Dennis), Claire Mix (Charles), two step daughters, Ann M. Perri and Mary Sheridan (Ted), four stepsons, Michael, James, Thomas and Timothy McQuillan, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a brother John Kropp (Verna) and many nieces and nephews and the family’s special friend Diana Ramirez. Barbara and her family appreciated very much the kind and professional care extended to Barbara during her final illness by Sandra Kinchen and Mavis Franklin of Nurses Today. A memorial service will be held at Sparkman/ Hillcrest Northwest Hwy Chapel, at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday March 11, 2010. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make memorial donations are requested to make them to DFW Humane Society of Irving, 1611 W. Irving Blvd., Irving, TX 75061
